Community Boat Use Reminder

ree

Lakeshore canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards are for resident use ONLY and all water craft are to be used at your own risk.

All resident Lakeshore boat users must follow the rules when using boats.

  1. Sign a liability waiver. Forms are located to the right when first entering the clubhouse.

  2. Slide the signed waiver under the double panel windows of the clubroom. If you are under the age of 18, a parent must sign for you.

  3. All boaters must pick up a life preserve and paddle from the box on the side patio next to the playground.

  4. The combination for the locks is noted on the waiver form.

  5. When you are done, put everything back and make sure all boats are secure and locked to the canoe stand.

Boating Safety: Residents may take the Florida Boating Safety Course offered by BoatUS Foundation, a free online course. This course is recommended for residents who wish to lean about proper boat etiquette and boating safety.

WARNING: Alligators and snakes are part of the natural environment of Florida. Please be careful while enjoying your water activity.

Carefully read the Lakeshore amenity rules prior to the use of any Lakeshore amenity.
