Yesterday Evening Spectrum management jumped on a Town Hall meeting with the residents of Lakeshore to answer questions related to our 1/29/24 switch over to bulk services.

Here is a link to the entire meeting for those of you that missed it.

Quick summary:

  1. Our Bulk services start on Monday 1/29/24

    1. Call Bulk services to have them switch your personal Spectrum account over to the bulk pricing. Phone Number: 877-647-7732

      1. "IF" you need a new modem, Spectrum will mail you one. At this point you will disconnect your existing modem and replace it with the modem that Spectrum mails to you. If your existing modem is compatible with 1 gig service, then your speed will adjust automatically after calling the number.

      2. If for some reason after you receive your modem, you are having problems call our dedicated Bulk services Technical Number at: 855-895-5302

  2. There is going to be some overlap/double billing between your Spectrum personal account and your HOA fees for Spectrum services. Spectrum is going to get back to us within the next 2 - 3 days to see if they can work out a solution with their Home Services department.

  3. Every household will be entitle to 1 Spectrum Xumo box. This box will be used to "enjoy" our contracted community TV lineup. Here is a link to learn more about Xumo.

    1. If you have a Roku Smart TV, Apple TV, or Roku device you can "enjoy" our Spectrum TV channels through those devices. If not, you can use the Spectrum provided Xumo device.

      1. If you desire additional Xumo devices you may add them to your Spectrum personal account.

      2. If you desire additional televisions channels you may add them to your Spectrum personal account.

      3. If you desire to keep your VOIP Spectrum telephone line, you may still do so through your Spectrum personal account.

      4. If you desire to keep your existing Spectrum cable boxes, you may do so through your Spectrum personal account.

    2. Here is the Spectrum's channel line up from Candi:

  1. For Lakeshore Renters: You may contact your landlord or management company and tell them that Internet and TV are now provided for free through their HOA fees. In order for you to take advantage of this your landlord must call 877-647-7732 and set up a bulk services account and add you as the renter as an authorized user to their account. Once your landlord receives their modem and Xumo box, you can then call regular Spectrum customer service (number is found on your Spectrum bill) to cancel your personal services.

    1. Keep in mind - your landlord is not obligated to provide you with these services. So continue your personal services until you have worked out an agreement with them directly.

    2. If your landlord does not want to add you to their bulk services and they do not want to put you in charge of their modem and Xumo box, that is up to them. Bulk services is a contract between Spectrum and Lakeshore Preserve HOA you are not entitled to these services as renters of Lakeshore - it is up to your Landlords to decide if they want to extend this benefit to you.

  2. For Lakeshore residents that work from home and are reimbursed by their company for internet costs. You will still have a personal Spectrum account. You can show this account to your employers and according to Spectrum your internet line item will appear on your invoices as Bulk. You may then head to the document section of the lakeshore website and download a copy of the Spectrum contract to share with your employers for reimbursement.

    1. Lakesheore HOA does not guarantee that your employers will accept this format.

    2. in year 1 of our Spectrum contract. Internet is 29.99 per month plus taxes and fees and television is 5.00 per month.

Please be patient

Within the next 30 days we believe that everyone will be thrilled with this service. It's saving us a lot of money every month and providing us with better Spectrum services that we all use in every aspect of our lives. Thanks for everyone's involvement in yesterdays meeting and for all your questions!

Hi Nick and Paul, I activated my service on Monday. We are only getting the basic TV package currently, not the upgraded package that was promised. The Spectrum Customer Service person told me that the only way they can activate is if the contract is changed by the Bulk Services Sales Lead who manages our account. Do you know if this has happened or will happen in the near future? Appreciate any feedback you may have. Thank you for your leadership on this. Regards, Kevin Prillaman
