Lakeshore Townhome Committee
The mission of the Townhome Committee is to provide advocacy and representation of the interests of the Townhome Residents within Lakeshore Preserve. The Committee is charged with overseeing the HOA’s responsibilities (as defined in the governing documents) with respect to the Townhome Community in general, including building and common area maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements. Additionally, the Committee will provide budgetary input on capital improvement and maintenance items with the goal of maintaining the Lakeshore Preserve.
Expectations, Responsibilities, and Procedures for
Lakeshore Preserve HOA Committees
Thank you for volunteering to serve on a Lakeshore Preserve HOA committee. Active participation by our residents is necessary for us to truly function as a ‘community.’ Through this communication, the Board of Directors hopes to clarify our expectations regarding HOA committees. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Meetings
All HOA committees are expected to have regular meetings (either face to face or virtual), which should be listed on the community calendar (so make sure Lorena knows when/where you are meeting). If possible, invite Lorena and your Board Liasson to your meetings. (Note there are special rules regarding meetings of the Hearing Committee).
Leadership
Each Committee should choose a chair or co-chairs, who will be responsible for arranging the Committee meetings and reporting Committee activities to the CAM/Board.
Minutes/Records/Reports
All HOA committees should maintain records of their activities. This may take the form of formal meeting minutes; however, just a regular accounting of Committee activities is sufficient. The Committee Chair is responsible for providing a monthly report to the Board at least 48 hours prior to the regular monthly Board meeting (which occurs on the fourth Tuesday of each month).
